Welcome to Mauii Sauce. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of mauiisauces.com (the "Site"), including our wholesale program and the retailer reorder portal. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Mauii Sauce, a small-batch sauce maker located in Fargo, North Dakota. You can find our sauces at the retail locations listed on our homepage.
Consumer online sales are currently paused. The Site does not offer online checkout or take consumer orders right now. To buy Mauii Sauce, visit one of the stores on our Find Us list. If online ordering returns, these Terms will be updated with terms of sale before any order is accepted.
Our sauces are handcrafted food products. We try to describe and photograph them accurately, but colors, flavors, labels, and packaging may vary slightly between batches, and screen colors may differ from the real product.
Allergen & food-safety notice. Our sauces are made in a kitchen that also handles common allergens, which may include soy, wheat/gluten, garlic, and others. Always read the ingredient label on the bottle before use. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, do not rely on the website alone. Our products are food, not medicine — we make no health or medical claims.
Keep refrigerated after opening where the label directs. Use by the date printed on the bottle.
Our wholesale page lets stores, restaurants, and event partners request wholesale information or a bulk order. Submitting the wholesale form is an inquiry only — it is not a binding order, it does not reserve product, and it does not charge you. We will follow up to confirm products, pricing, payment, and delivery separately before anything is fulfilled.
Existing wholesale partners may be given a personal reorder link to view their account, place case reorders, and set up, pause, or cancel a standing (recurring) order. The portal is for business use by our wholesale partners:
If you submit a recipe or serving idea to our Community Kitchen, you confirm it's yours to share, and you give Mauii Sauce a free, ongoing permission to publish, display, edit for length/clarity, and promote it (with the first name you provide) on the Site and in our marketing. Submissions are published on the Site, and we may remove or decline any submission at our discretion. Don't submit anything unlawful, vulgar, or that you don't have the right to share.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to submit the wholesale form, use the reorder portal, or submit content. By submitting information, you confirm it is accurate and that you're authorized to act for the business you name.
The Mauii Sauce name, logo, label artwork, product names, photography, and Site content are owned by Mauii Sauce or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission, except as needed to browse the Site.
You agree not to use the Site unlawfully, to interfere with its operation or security, to attempt unauthorized access (including to another store's reorder account), or to use it in any way that could harm Mauii Sauce or other users.
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mauii Sauce disclaims all warranties not expressly stated here, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection or food-safety laws that cannot be waived.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mauii Sauce and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount paid for that product. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mauii Sauce and its owners from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Dakota, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cass County, North Dakota, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time — including if online ordering returns. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
